How to ride the bus

If you’re paying by cash, get on the bus without taking a ticket.

Tap your IC card to the card reader near the entrance to make a record of where you got on the bus. (This is necessary, even if getting on at the beginning of the route.)
If you are paying by cash, you will need to get a numbered ticket from the ticket issuing machine, but you do not need to get a numbered ticket from the starting stop, Hanno Station.

The fare is displayed on the fare display board in front of the bus. The top row indicates the ticket number, and the bottom row shows the fare. Look for the first column, which represents “No Ticket”. (No Ticket means you got on the bus at the first stop)
Children’s fares are half price (rounded up to the nearest 10 yen).

When you’re ready to get off the bus, tap the card reader on the fare box with your transportation IC card to pay the fare. (The fare is automatically calculated)
Please notify the driver if you need to charge your IC card or need change.

When getting off, please be careful of bicycles and motorcycles. Please watch your step, as it can be slippery on rainy days.
